NINO Collection glass slides: Iraq
Iraq (Babylonia): general views, people, Baghdad (a.o. Iraq Museum), ceramic and metal vessels.
Most of these images were taken or collected by prof. Böhl in the 1930’s for use in his lectures, with the purpose of sketching a wide overview of Iraqi culture and history. He visited the Bagdad museum to study cuneiform texts in its collection.
